This is the course for you if you are new to 12d Model.

- open an existing 12d Model project
- create a new 12d Model project, and load data into the project
- inquire and measure
- create a tin from survey data
- create and export contours
- create plotted output directly from 12d Model to PDF
- export data to cad
If you have already used 12d Model, and had instruction from your colleagues, there will be something here for you too.
When you have completed this course you will be familiar with the 12d Model user interface, be able to load and triangulate survey data and create contours.
You will have used simple drafting tools in 12d Model, know the basics of plotting and export.

Course Outline
- Open an existing project, and inspect the data
- Start a new project, and load CAD file of cadastral boundaries, and a 12daz file of survey data
- Use the survey data to create a triangulation (TIN), then edit the TIN (remove long triangles)
- Use 12d Model’s CAD tools for basic drafting
- Interrogate the data using the string inquire and measure tools, and display elevations and codes on-screen.
- Learn to search for commands in 12d Model based on your keywords
- Create contour strings from the TIN
- Two Types of Plotting – Quick Sheet Plotting and MPS – Multipage Plotting

Excellent for complete beginners to 12D
Good comprehensive training. A bit frustrating not being able to skip modules that have been completed previously [for V14], but I can understand why this is.
A good course to start out using 12d
It is better if there is a course for drainage design also
much more understandable than other new starter training courses/videos encountered so far, good intro to the user interface and terminology, for example models being layers, or 'strings'

I appreciate the quick run-through some of the functions, especially some of the more useful / frequent tools. The lecturers made it easy to follow along.

I am very new to the 12D but I got the closure and lessons so smooth that it was easy to navigate what's being taught, different ways of doing same thing and enough information so that I can navigate 12D on my own. Simplified everything so the learning curve is very small.
Great starting point for someone who has never operated 12d before.
